  1. Great video, no small talk comments that others do (so annoying), just simple step by step assembly. Used this video on my laptop, never opened the paper assembling instructions. I assembled my BBQ in just a little over an hour, being careful and meticulous. The only comment I have to make, is why didn't you use the washers supplied on every screw??? Thank you!

  2. Thank you for this helpful video. I got so far with the supplied just adequate printed instructions but they did not show the change in the Spirit S-315 Gas Grill circa Jan 2024. That change being only the back panel which is not as tall as that shown in the instructions and in this video. So thank you.

May I make a suggestion or perhaps more? Most of the steps were very clear on this video except a couple of things. I saw the first bolt/screws installed at finger tight but did not see, read or hear when they were tightened up using the electric device. I always put things together at finger tight since I keep making mistakes and also often need some flexibility in the set up as I add steps, then tighten them up once all the essential parts are installed. But it would be useful if there was even some text captions mentioning this. But he pointed out many things that the print instructions do not, so thank you again. A few times his head and cap got in the way especially when installing the plastic clips for the wiring. I never did really see what he was doing. Everything being black in there that does not help him. Not his fault. Perhaps loose the cap.

You might also add a caption in the text part of this video description that the model IDs that this video also apples to the perhaps newer Spirit S-315 Gas Grill.

Lastly as a person who has made numerous instructional videos, a lavaliere mic that clips to his shirt would help a lot. It would keep his voice even in volume and cut out all the background noise of the other assemblies (out of sight but not out of hearing) making them far less loud and distracting. If I may, I could suggest using the new DJI Pocket Osmo 3 (https://www.amazon.com/DJI-Vlogging-Stabilization-Tracking-Photography/dp/B0CG19FGQ5/ref=sr_1_3?crid=B8W21EWG5MPH&keywords=dji%2Bpocket%2Bosmo%2B3&qid=1706116454&sprefix=Dpocket%2Bosmo%2B3%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.2b70bf2b-6730-4ccf-ab97-eb60747b8daf&th=1) that is so small it is easy to get into the little spaces and it has a synchronized lavaliere mic that automatically connects with the video camera (which is built into its own tiny stabilizer) and gives fantastic sound just as the Osmo 3 provides superb video that also can be seen and controlled from a remote smart phone via the blue tooth connection that is part of the internal and external app for the devices. Really easy to use on full automatic and has a zoom to get closer to his fingers so we can see better what he is doing. This is a very new product and is head and shoulders further along than its predecessors. I shoot professionally and this works just fine. You can even mount it on a short pole to push it into the enclosures for a better view. Just "sayin' " as they say.)

But again thank you. This is a life saver. 24 Jan, 2024

  3. Just purchased a Spirit E-330. Watched this video first. Extremely well done and helpful. The only addition is the side burner. I'm pretty handy and it took me about 2 hours. Did not rush. Key is unpack all the parts first and lay them out. Then step by step. I used the picture instructions which were easy to interpret after watching this video. Thank you Fraser!

  4. Absolutely the best instructional video ever. Clear, concise, precise, nothing you don't need to know but everything you do. Every step is perfectly clear. No wasted motion. This guy should be running our country (USA), or the Pentagon at least. Is he Canadian? Can we get an exemption for him?

  5. Perfect assemble video! Not wasting everyone's time talking about how much you love grilling and back when I was growing up my grandfathers farm I use to . . . blah blah blah. I'm going to give this guy a like and subscribe just because he never asked and made an outstanding video ❤ Oh and your audio was perfect

  7. My skill are not at mechanical but toard righting end speekng. But this video totally got me through!!! This is one of the greatest videos of all time! I wish you made ALL the DIY videos! You get a zero for pointless chatter, a zero for bad camera angles, and a zero for having any seconds that didn't matter. Absolutely rock solid, it was a joy to do my grill. Thank you!

  8. Thanks for the reply. I did not have a match holder on my old reliable Weber Genesis Silver B. I used those long stemmed matches from the dollar store. My son is enjoying his new Weber Spirit E315. Weber makes great grills. Fantastic video.
