As the days get brighter here’s an easy speedy smoothie to enjoy at any time of the day. Made quickly using a hand held blender.
Makes 2 & takes 5 minutes:
– 2 small bananas (chopped)
– 250g mixed summer berries (frozen or fresh)
– 1 tbsp chia seeds
– 100ml orange juice
– 250g yogurt (I like to use vanilla)
🥤1. Place the ingredients into a jug and whizz up using a hand blender. Start slowly first then as the ingredients begin to blend, speed the blender up.
🥤2. Blend to your desired consistency.
🥤3. Pour into glasses and enjoy. Or decant into a bottle to take the smoothie out and about with you. If you want to keep it cooler for longer add in a little ice.
