Crispy, Juicy, BANG BANG SHRIMP! 🍤🔥 (Air Fryer Recipe)

These Bang Bang Shrimp are CRISPY on the outside, JUICY on the inside, and absolutely packed with flavour! Made in the air fryer and tossed in a creamy, sweet & spicy mayo-based sauce — this is one of my all-time favorite recipes 😋

Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or even in tacos or rice bowls!

📌 Recipe:

Ingredients
400g Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 tsp each of the following – Garlic granules, ground black pepper, onion granules, medium red chilli powder.
1/4 tsp Salt

For dredging
1/4 cup Corn flour
2 Large egg whites
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

For the sauce – combine
1/4 cup Kewpie mayonnaise
1 tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
2 tsp Sriracha
1 tsp Soy sauce

Garnish – chives or spring onion greens

Method
Step 1 – To a bowl, add the shrimp and the listed seasonings, mix well to coat.

Step 2 – Dip the shrimp in the corn flour, then egg and next the panko bread crumbs, coating it well. Repeat with the rest.

Step 3 – Spray the air fryer tray with some oil. Place the shrimp on the air fryer tray, leaving some space between them. Spray again with oil to coat them well. Set your air fryer to 190c and cook for 8 minutes turning them half way through.

Step 4 – Remove from the air fryer and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle on the sauce and toss or brush to coat! Top with fresh chives and serve immediately! Enjoy
