I turn the mashed potatoes upside down and sprinkle salt heat up then break it up , put butter and heat up again. Take out mix the mashed potatoes and turn the patty over heat again. Then put corn in the mashed potatoes and eat the patty it's my favorite dinner, if you enjoy McDonald's mc rib it's not to different tbh .
So I won’t lie, growing up in a broke family in Arkansas, this was one of my favorite meal. Now, as a broke adult I still enjoy it.

Our local food bank once gave away TVP. It resembles panko. I remember adding it to hamburger with poor results. Yeah it stretched taco meat, but at the expense of both texture and flavor…

I've eaten my share of banquet dinners, and the 6pc tray ect.. cuz after wife passed I had to eat and feed kids, long journey but now executive chef, pitmaster, hunter, butcher ect.. a home, my kids and now some grandkids under 1 roof lol, I love my grills and smokers, won awards on ribs and chili, and a rub, it's so much cheaper to make and way better, but I totally understand why they exist, if down and out and you get back on feet, please pay it forward 🙏, tyvm

They’re getting more expensive so I don’t think they’re worth it anymore, but something about this low quality patty with low quality sauce just hits 😂

This dinner is pretty good for the price, it smells great, and remember you can always add seasoning like pepper and salt, try adding a touch of garlic and onion powder and eat with a slice of bread

Seriously bro? I eat these like all the time and microwaved of course. Honestly I think they are amazing and I could honestly not care what it’s made of as long as it’s USDA approved I’m good. But the ones I’m always loading up in my freezer are the large 6 or 7 rib patty trays. I toss em in the fridge to thaw a bit then the mic. However I will say that the banquet Salisbury steak ones are awful even tho they used to be good but now I’m always finding bone fragments in those so yeah no thanks. But the bbq I love those. I’m only watching this because I’m curious to what others think of these. But we all got different taste buds different favorite flavors ect. Me I’ll eat just about any food. And Iv had a lot of different animals to from hunting like duck wrapped in bacon and deer meat venison is my favorite especially when it’s extra gamey. I love that. Adds an amazing zest to it if you ask me. Iv have venison in just about every form. Sausages , steaks , jerky, stew , ect
Will you stop complaining about TVP and that it’s spongy,and the texture of this or that. What do you expect,gourmet food? I don’t find it to be that bad. I know someone that won’t eat pasta because he doesn’t like the texture. That’s the way pasta is. God some people are weird! It seems very few things are good enough for you!

I love banquet TV dinners… I Ate them growing up…And I still buy them today.. but it isn’t even real food… It’s just a kind of a comfort food for me…
