Thanks for the down to earth, easy to understand tips on how to make bbq fun and successful at the same time. I’ve been cooking bbq for 40 years, but I’ve learned so much from you. Specifically: Fire management in an offset. I used to fight with it; now I enjoy it! God bless you brother!
Three part question:
When you reuse the charcoal you have in that bucket do you A) Put the used charcoal alone in the chimney, B) Put a layer of the used charcoal at the bottm of the chimney with a layer of new charcoal on top or C) Sandwich the used charcoal between 2 layers of new charcoal when you do your short cooks? Thanks for the video!
Hey Tony no offense but u forgot to tell the beginners to not use the same tongs for the raw food and when the food is cooked.
Maybe the title could be "How to use a Weber Kettle for beginners"
Watching while setting up my new charcoal grill and offset smoker, great content, prayers up to Cody
Never wanted a Weber. Went with an offer from day 1 but I now understand the attraction and they've created a lot of cool accessories for their grills. I still go offset. I saw back 15 or so years back another way to start your chimney. Take a piece of newspaper or maybe a grocery ad and spray it with a little olive oil. Makes the paper burn a little slower so it doesn't completely burn before the coals catch, a problem I've had many times not having very much paper.
Thank you for this video. I’m not exactly new to grilling or smoking but I’ve been guilty of most of the rookie mistakes. 😁I’ve watched many grilling/smoking videos on YouTube but I’ve learned the most from your teaching style. God Bless you and fervent prayers for Cody!
Prayers to Cody, I just got a Weber Kettle a month ago, that thing is a beast!
Cody – you’ve got prayers coming from Wyoming. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
