  1. From one Pennsylvanian to another, you surely must be proud of your family and how things are progressing !!!!
Many well deserved blessings to all of you.

I am retired and spent 41 years as a railroad conductor. Just as you, I was truly blessed with great children, who are now responsible, hard working adults with their own families.
I am in the extreme southeastern corner of Pa., bordering New Jersey and Delaware.
My wife's whole family is from the Scranton area and over the years made many trips to "upstate", to visit and attend different family functions.

One of the funniest things I heard about Pennsylvanians was from a friend of my son. He was from Ohio and was a buddy of his in the Air Force. They both came to our place, once when on leave from New Mexico.
My son said that once on base, another buddy of theirs asked what Pennsylvania was like. Before he could answer, his buddy from Ohio blurted this out.
" Well, you have Pittsburgh and then you have Philadelphia" " Then, everything else in between those two places is considered, Pennsyltucky".
I couldn't stop laughing and is a bit true.

Anyway, thanks a million for the interesting videos that the lovely ladies have been making. I'm sure everyone enjoys viewing the whole family and many things going on. Plus appreciates the hard work contributed by all involved.
The very best of luck and happiness to all of your future endeavours.

  2. There's only one winner there that is everybody set up that is everybody sat at the table doesn't matter doesn't matter you got it right dad or grandad everybody at that table is a winner enough😅😅😅😅😂😂😂❤❤

  3. Wow! I love both of those grills, but the fact that Grandpa built his himself and he really put a lot of thinking into it before building, I'm going to go with Grandpa on the grills. I do like Dad's grill for the lowering and raising of the grill bed though. I'm sure both of their wings were great, but then again, even though I didn't taste them, Grandpa's wings looked like they had been marinated rather than dry rubbed, so, I would have to go with Grandpa again on the wings. I like all of the videos, but these grilling videos are wonderful.

  4. Well, turns out that the 20 cord of logs poached from our landing are not insured. I will be researching a possible tax loss write-off with our preparer. Timber is considered real estate. The Conservation dispatcher at the NYS DEC said that fire wood is a "hot" commodity. Lol. The good news is our oak trees are re-leafing after getting freezer burned due to a late May frost. Emerald your one of the best "sportscasters" in the industry. Awesome BBQ video competition! Yes, you look beautiful wearing a dress but no one is apt to ever complain when you and Jade are working in shorts. Other than getting mosquito bites on my legs I will be wearing shorts mostly now myself. Insect repellent is critical when the black flys are out biting. Do you have a favorite repellent that works well in your neck of the woods? Tangentially, there is enough smoke sweeping down from those Canadian forest fires to flavor a piece of meat cooking on the hood of a car! https://cherryvalleyoutdoorgames.com/?page_id=412

  5. Enjoyed the video but that very narrow field of focus is very distracting. With the camera movement and subject movement most of the objects are out of focus. Maybe it’s an artistic affect but for me it’s distracting. Really good subject.

  6. i like grandpa's grill better. so much thought went into it and it has everything you'd want in an outdoor cooker. only thing missing would be a side firebox, but the right grill doesn't need one.
