FILIPINO PORK BBQ RECIPIES: NEEDS:
5 – pounds pork butt, sliced to bite size 1-bag large bamboo skewers
1 – can 7-up 1-bag charcoal
1- cups soy sauce 1-barbecue grill
2 – tbsp. vinegar 1-bottle of water spray
1 – cups oyster sauce 1-cooking brush
1/2- cups brown sugar
1 – tbsp. ground black pepper
1/2- cup garlic, peeled and minced
10 – fresh chili peppers minced-optional for spicy food
1/2- cups banana ketchup
1/4 – cup sesame oil
SPICY DIP
5-tbsp. white vinegar
3 – cloves garlic, peeled and minced
2- scallion peeled and finely chopped
10 -fresh chili peppers, chopped-reduce spicy by using lesser chilly
¼ – teaspoon salt
2-tbsp. fish sauce
3-tbsp. honey
ISTRUCTIONS:
First, cut the pork meat into bite size include the fat
Second, to a large bowl, combine all ingredients, mixed well.
Third, put the cut pork meat into the mixed ingredients, blend well cover and leave in the fridge for two hours or better yet overnight for better flavours.
TO GRILLED:
.First, skewing the meats tight and nicely
.Second, save one cup of marinaded liquid and add one cup of banana sauce for topping while grilling to for extra flavours.
.Third, grilled the pork skewed on the medium charcoal, turn the meat occasionally, and brush on the top of the meat with the marinated liquid few times during the grilling to get best.
.To douse the flambé flames by spraying water on the grill.
. Grill the pork meat until well done and golden brown colour.
