You should do the can am bbq ride
I’ve been traveling to ft worth for years.. I always stop by both to get my fix!! They are great
Went to a wedding in Fort Worth and stopped at panther city after watching this. Great food. The brisket elote is definitely amazing. We didn’t get to try the tacos but if we ever get back here we’ll for sure get them. Thanks for this series.
Love the quote more tender than your mothers love, that’s gonna be my logo here in Australia for my restaurant, Aussie Tex/Mex bbq
Those bacon burnt ends are the truth
Fuck Netflix. Post these profiles right here at The Meat Church.
I find it kind of funny that, when you introduced Mr. Heim, I had to double take because I thought the Car Wizard started a BBQ joint. 🤣
Fellow Spyder Rider and vlogger here. Great job on this video series.
Bacon burnt ends at hiems are legit.
I can't wait to head back to Dallas Texas and Q road show south! Can someone list some must stop at breweries please? Cheers!
Love these. I would love to see some videos of you going to viewers home teaching them how to make BBQ or having them on your show at your home and showing them how to make good BBQ. I’ll volunteer to be the first one.
Been going to panther city since their truck days. Love those guys to death.
I'm enjoying the series. It's very inspirational to the grilling enthusiasts and professionals alike. Matt Pittman livin the good life. Cheers sir
I'm lovin all the bbq talk during the can-am ad. Bloody awesome mate keep it up Matt.
Bloody awesome trip mate. Sending BBQ love from Darwin. Australia 🍺
People who made their own way and people that had a lot of help..
Matt, you have great YouTube videos. But your Pit Stop series shows so much more to enjoy. Thanks.
@meatchurch keep these series coming, maybe eventually venture out of Tx?
I think the Can Am got more exposure than the BBQ places you visited.
Heim is been a go to spot for me since they were a trailer on the south side.. I prefer the river location, closer to home 🙂
Looks awesome. If you get a chance go to 2M smokehouse outside san antonio. Hands down best bbq ive had in texas.
Wow….
Man those places look good! I'm loving your pit stop series here, keep them going Matt!
I just moved into FW, just around the corner from Heim. That place is amazing!
The second episode is just as good if not better than the first. Thank you for making these videos, and I hope to see more!
I worked at two other BBQ places in Fort Worth before I started on the line at Heim River, but when Travis selected me to work in this smokehouse, everything changed. I learned so much from that crew and can't say enough good things about Travis for giving me the tools to excel where I'm at now. Things ended on a sour note between Heim and I, but that was my mistake and my pride that led to my leaving. It was very hard work, and between the extreme temperatures of Texas summers and winters, the battalions of flies (and the salt gun we used to keep them at bay) and the legions of kids running around the smokehouse while the parents sat at the bar it was a crazy gig. Thanks, Travis. Love you, Robin!
Love the series… I've got to try some of these amazing BBQ joints now… When it gets warmer, take a trip to Hot Springs, AR to McClard's BBQ. Love these video's, keep 'em coming.
Great stuff as always, gonna check these places out.
Heim BBQ has the best beans hands down.
I hope you keep this up, I love seeing stuff like this on YouTube, especially on your channel, your awesome Matt.
Another solid episode and just keeps adding to list of places to eventually try. One of my fave things to see in this series is the BBQ Community of how all the pitmasters respect one another's craft.
Panther City Rocks!
I need the address for each BBQ joint is located. I love going to these joints and eat their food.
A can-am ad with some bbq thrown in. Neat
As entertainer, Bobby Womack, said, "Leave them wanting more and you know they'll call you back." Matt, your episodes are SO well done and fun; and, like great BBQ, you definitely leave us wanting more. Just one question: When will this be picked-up by Discovery, or The Food Network??? It would be fantastic if you were able to stretch these into 30-minute shows on one of the cable networks! Way to go!!
Loving this series Matt! Also, you look to dang young to have an older son whos married.. Must be the nonstop facials you get everytime you open a pit 😂
These episodes are about 20 minutes to short..
I love this stuff.
Awesome series. So many great spots out there. In the future with everyone having the main meats down to a science I'd love to see a series on all the variety of side dishes these elite chefs and pitmasters come up with.
