White man making tamales interesting!!! that’s not how my Hispanic grandmother used to make them
I started cutting my pork butts in half before cooking, 1/2 the cook time and 2x the bark, makes life easier and more tasty-seems like it would be good for this recipe
aww, I wanna come to the Chud shop, play cards, watch die hard, and eat tamales!!
Where'd you get that santa hat? I've googled and can't find anything like it. I'm a fan of it for sure
My hat off to you sir… if I was your neighbor, I would buy 2 dozens tamales from you.. Chorizo flavor sounds devine…. 🔥 🔥 🔥 Ma-god… I need to try this recipe. You should be working at farmers market selling this Gourmet Tamales… Have you tried making Chorizo Burgers???
Need to do the float test on the masa to make sure it is at the right consistency. But they looked good.
If you wear white cotton gloves under the latex gloves it is way easier to handle hot meat when you shred it up.
That masa tecture might work in a tortilla press.
What did you want the goat cheese for?
I subscribed last year. Really enjoy what you’re doing. Don’t change
Gr8 amount of work. -Str8
Your masa looks like it neeeds lard mixed into it, its looking a little dry, and the pico de gallo doesn't belong with tamales
Pat em dry ding ding 😂
For me using a plastic Bondo spreader works the best for applying the masa onto the husks.
Chud! Would love to see you take on a scratch made short rib ragu. I made it for our family get together last Christmas and it was excellent. I did the short ribs 3 ways before finishing them off in the braise. And while I’m throwing out recommendations how about a Chicken Noodle Soup? Chicken noodle soup you ask? Yea, trust me on this. As well as mine turned out I know yours would be KILLER!
THIS is how tastings should be. I know it's difficult to get everyone together but this lineup and banter was awesome.
Please make a cookbook brother I would buy a copy so fast
Please tell me where you got your hat!!! I need it
Challenge accepted. These look awesome!
Hey Evan. Brad. Other guy. Oh. Helloooooo CHUD Chics!
while yall masa spreading is lacking lol, you captured the traditional family tamale rolling experience! My cousin, uncle and I roll tamales for my family's restaurant seasonally. Fun times and its a beating
That was a really cool episode Bradly! Three different kinds too. Reminds me of the family tamale day as a kid! It was so awesome to see your BQ family making them, with movie, cards, and having a night of it. The tamales look really good by the way, need to give these a try. This was a great Holiday cook vid!!! Hope to see this type again
I think this has finally inspired me to make my own tamales. Lived in Texas for 13 years, moved to upstate NY 7 years ago and been craving tamales but can't find them anywhere here.
Chud im proud of you have grown into a great human being cause bbq tamales have alway been on my mind
Watching this guy make barbacoa… wondering if you can substitute beef cheek for Oxtail?
deep fry your tamales! next level!
You should've chopped the pork butt while smoking is fine but to save on time and geta better seasoning to surface ratio and you can still get that bomb smoke flavor
Nice one , not many people get lady GAGA handling their Tamales !! 🙂
norte-gringillo tamal
Which big, steamy pile tasted the best?
