  1. Thinking about using a high heat spray paint on the shell of my sportsman grill. Of course not the grill grate itself. Any thoughts?? Is this considered a moral sin??

  2. Interesting knock off cooker. I do wonder about the quality of the cast iron sometimes from overseas. A lesser quality of cast iron then what Lodge uses can be brittle. But overall that looks good. As to placing foil in the bottom I could see some benefits but I have never thought it was worth it. I am always cleaning and re-seasoning to avoid rust. Always remember to add some vegetable oil after each cook and it will last 100 years. Last thing the hooks were a fun mod. However I suggest everyone keep a dedicated offset of pliers in their bbq tools kit. And of course tongs can work also but the pliers work better. Everyone have a great day 🌤.

  3. Poorly designed for outdoors cooking, the food surface is exposed to wind and rain. No lid, no windbreak. Uses a lot of charcoal and scorches food on bottom while I cooked on top and in middle. Sold mine after one campout, fail. Get a small Weber Kettle . Cooks way better, more versatile, less briquettes.
