⭐️SHRIMP FRIED RICE
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs Flank Steak (Ribeye steak works too)
1 large egg
2 tbsp corn starch
1/4 cup rice wine
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic minced
1 stalk of green onion finely chopped
1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp fresh ginger minced
1 head of broccoli cut in to florets
1/2 large onion chopped
1/3 cup (2 oz to 3 oz) dark soy sauce
2/3 (5.3 oz) cup beef broth
2 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup (2 oz) cold water
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp sesame oil

Honestly for the cost of beef and ingredients from the grocery store these days and the labor involved, you may as well order this entree from a local Chinese restaurant and do take out.
I made this tonight and it was pretty good. I did not add any salt and I am glad I didn’t. The soy sauce and beef broth were enough sodium. I did use frozen broccoli which I thawed by running hot water over it. I added it to the beef right as it was getting done. And I did as you suggested and pulled it out before I put the sauce in.
What type of meat Chef?And your technique is wrong. You didn't even blanch the brocoll, and I can out cook you, any time any where, let's go. I am a Graduate of The Culinary Institute of America upstate New York state, let's go because you want to get on UTUBE

I'm just using what i have, cauliflower instead of broccoli, adding some sad mushrooms. I have some rice cooked in the fridge I can nuke, and have the pot I put the sauteed onions, mushrooms, and cauliflower that
I can use to cook some noodles, so I think this is going to be fantastic ! I'm 3/4 through so I'll let you know ! 😀
That food looks so delicious. Made my mouth water. Thank you for showing us how you make the dish and even leaving in your slight error to show it wasn't a disaster and was still delicious. Sometimes, we learn more when an error is shown than if all went perfect, so I consider that was good of you to talk about it and show it. I have a question: Would you still have put the chunked onion into the meat, or just cooked the meat and then removed it from the pan when you cooked the meat and the rest of the food, or when would you have included the onion?

I tried it with chicken… it dont work out very well .. to much moisture in the chicken.. I also used 4 lbs , so I used 2 eggs.. dont !! 🤣

For the love of God, what is wrong with you viewers! Virtually everything she did in this video was wrong and she still gets all of you fan boys/girls to drool over her with your comments. #1 in an effort to sear the meat she overcorded the pan which lowered the heat causing the meat to release it's moisture, instead of searing it, which effectively boiled it. #2 she added chunks of onion to the already cooked meat. Two things happen…first, the meat is now going to cook twice and second, the onions are never truly touching the pan and getting sauteed (no caramelization). You can see by the end of the cook the onion layers are still stuck together (raw). #3 she adds the liquid to all the ingredients. In the effort to reduce this liquid and thicken she has now cooked the meat a third time. In the end she bolied and overcooked the meat and the dish. This is nothing like what the meal should look nor taste like. I also feel her voice over notes were a cop out. As of the time I watched this video it had over 2.2 million views paying her…she could afford to make it a second time correctly. Note to Mama: You have over one million subscribers. Respect the viewers and produce real content that sincerely reflects how something should be made. Elevate their taste buds and help them grow their culinary experiences.
