Ingredients:
250g minced beef
olive oil
1 medium potato (cut into small cubes)
1 carrot (cut into small cubes)
5-6 cloves garlic (minced)
1 medium sized onion (minced)
1 small bell pepper (minced)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp white sugar
ground black pepper and salt to taste
Instructions:
Heat the pan and put olive oil.
Sauté the onion and garlic for 2 -3 minutes.
Put the minced beef and mix in together, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the potatoes and carrots.
Then add salt and pepper to taste, soy sauce and lemon juice.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat.
Add the bell pepper, tomato ketchup and sugar then mix and simmer for another 2 – 3 minutes.
*Best served with steamed rice.
