Turned out great! I added a bit of herbs and used some leftover bechamel and a bit of yogurt instead of the creme fresche / sour cream. Allowing the moisture to evaporate to sear the meat and then stewing for an hour was an awesome tip. A lot of flavor. Not overly chewy like others I've had. This is definitely one of those tight budget meals that's also real tasty treat!

Where are the onions and garlic? This is not an 'authentic' beef stroganoff .However, if you like bland ,it's ok.
