Hi! Today I will share with you the easiest and tastiest beef tri tip recipe. I will be using the reverse sear method to cook the rti tip – I will first sear it in the oven at 275 degrees F until the internal temperature is 130 degrees F. Then I fill sear the tri tip in a well preheated pan with olive oil for 45 seconds on each bottom and top side. And then I will sear the tri tip sides for about 20 seconds each side.
Remember to take the tri tip out of the refrigerator about 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to cooking.
And after you are done cooking the tri tip, let it rest for about 10 minutes prior to cutting it.

It's Sept 2022 now. Last Christmas family was here. Had a SCRUMPTIOUS rib roast! This year all will be gone to spouses fsmilies, so just hubs and I to cook for. A few weeks ago I saw vacuum packed tri tip at my grocery store. I've never cooked one. Checked youtube sites and I wanted to do it just like you cooked yours. One little difference. I'm going to finish mine outside on the charcoal grill.
