I'm sorry, if you are making corned beef hash from a can then it is actually the worst corned beef hash you can eat and it is not a recipe! Chef John probably has the best recipe on Youtube
You need the iron skillet. That’s why mine don't taste like when I was a kid. I don’t have any cast iron skillets.

Just turn the can upside down and plop it.. thats what i do. And the fat content in the can is high enough so oiling ur pan is redundant and you wont get as much color. Add 1 diced onion and 3 eggs in 3 divits once partially browned and incorporat the eggs for a family meal.
Dont add oil or butter
