  1. What do you mean it ain’t good for you? If you cut out all carbs eating fat isn’t bad for you. It’s not the fat that’s the problem. It’s the sugar that causes inflammation in the arteries then cholesterol try’s to build up on the damaged places on the arteries from the sugar and you end up with a blockage.

  2. Awesome steaks as always! Ribeye with grassfed butter is one of the healthiest things you can eat! Way better than a bunch of carbs. I've been eating about 15-20 ribeyes for dinner per month. Lots of kerrygold butter. eggs, bacon, etc. My checkups at the Dr are looking much better at 40 than they did at 30! Love your vids 😀

  3. Old school here. Salt, pepper, high heat 500 degrees or higher. Flip once. Once you know your grill, you'll know how long per side. I can put my finger on a steak and tell how much it's done. Puncture the meat to check temp? Never. Butter on a steak, why? You're greasing up a fine piece of meat. Alternate. Make a marinade of crushed black peppercorn, salt, olive oil, water, and 1 teaspoon vinegar. Marinade 1 hour to overnight. You can add onion, garlic, or whatever you like. I don't. That will make an average piece of meat delicious

  5. There are not many things I would change.
First, I don't use a chimney; I pile the leftover lump charcoal on top of a starter, and once it's going pretty good, I pour on more charcoal.
Second, I'm lucky enough to have a huge supply of small pear tree logs. I use them to separate my direct heat from my indirect heat. The wood starts burning, and when I place the cover on, it is pure smoke flavoring for whatever meat I'm grilling.

You did perfection in the cooking. The seasoning was spot on. I tend to use soy sauce, but I sometimes use Worcestershire sauce.

When you pulled out the butter, I was afraid you would put it on the steaks while they were on the grill. I should have known better.

I've been making my own seasonings since you posted the video on how to make them. Even so, I bought a couple of Killer Hogs seasonings and really enjoyed them. I always keep a couple in the pantry.
