Better Than PF Chang’s! Easy Chicken Lettuce Wraps



I will teach you how to make the most flavorful, crisp, and easy PF Chang ’s style chicken lettuce wraps right in your own kitchen!

CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS INGREDIENTS:
For the filling
▶ 1 Tbsp olive oil
▶ 1 lb ground chicken (thigh preferred; or ground turkey, not extra lean)
▶ 1 small yellow onion, diced
▶ 2 garlic cloves, minced
▶ 2 tsp grated fresh ginger

For the sauce
▶ 1/4 cup hoisin
▶ 2 Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce (or tamari, GF)
▶ 2 Tbsp water
▶ 1 1/2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
▶ 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
▶ 1 Tbsp sriracha or gochujang (optional)

To finish
▶ 1 (8-oz) can water chestnuts, drained & diced
▶ 1/4 cup chopped green onion (plus more for serving)
▶ 1 head butter lettuce or romaine hearts, separated into cups

  1. I've got a tip to not tear up at chopping onions. Stop adding them to every dish in all these youtube videos. Per American survey, onions are the least favorite vegetable around. Youtubers, get the memo, and change it up with some leeks once in a while for gosh sakes!
