Pork and Broccoli dish is one of those comforting, homestyle recipes that may not look fancy but have stood the test of time because it is simple, healthy, delicious, and budget-friendly.

Ingredients (serves 2)
To Marinade the Pork
340g / 12 oz of pork, sliced thinly
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of white pepper
1.5 tsp of dark soy sauce (Amazon Link –
1.5 tbsp of cornstarch
1.5 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine (Amazon Link –
1 egg white
1.5 tbsp of cooking oil

To Make the Stir Fry Sauce (碗芡)
1.5 tbsp of light soy sauce (Amazon Link –
1/2 tbsp of oyster sauce (Amazon Link –
1 tsp of hoisin sauce (Amazon Link –
1 tsp of cornstarch
60g (1/4 cup) of water

Others:
340g / 12 oz of broccoli
2 tsp of salt to wash the broccoli
2 tsp of baking soda to wash the broccoli
1 Tbsp of vegetable oil to coat the broccoli
1.5 tbsp of pork lard to stir-fry the pork
1 tbsp of minced garlic
3-4 thai bird eye chilies
2 tsp of roasted sesame seeds
