Ingredients:
1. Okra – 300g
2. Oil for frying
3. Salt as per your taste
4. Red chili powder- 1tsp
5. Cooking oil – 2tbsp
6. Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
7. Black Seeds (Kalonji) – 1/2tsp
8. Onion – 1
9. Dry mango powder – 1tsp
10. Red Chili powder – 1/2tsp
11. Coriander powder -1tsp
12. Cumin powder -1/2 tsp
13. Garam masala – 1/2tsp
14. Turmeric -1/2 tsp
15. Water -2-3tbsp
16. Tomatoes – 1
Cooking Steps:
1. Fry okra 50% and then add chili powder and salt and keep aside.
2. Add black seeds & cumin seeds in hot oil and when the seeds crackle, add onion and fry till it changes color.
3. Now, add mango powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and turmeric powder to water to make paste
4. Add the paste and tomatoes puree into the fried onion at step 2 and fry well.
5. Now, add fried okra int the gravy and cook them well.
Ready to be served.
