This dish is full of flavour, Spicy with a taste of pepper.
It’s time to try Black Pepper Pork!

Black Pepper Pork I Pepper Pork Recipe I Sri Lankan Style

Cooking Time: 1 Hour

Ingredients
Pork
Cumin Seeds
Black Pepper
Water
Green Chillies
Garlic
Curry Leaves
Turmeric Powder
Coconut Oil
Salt
Water
Cardamom
Cloves

Method

Roast the cumin seeds and black pepper in a pan for about 3 minutes
Grind until powdered

On a pan over medium heat add the pork, turmeric powder, salt, water and the ground mixture and bring this to a boil for about 15 minutes.

Separately grind together green chillies, garlic, curry leaves and the spices with little water until smooth.

Now add the paste into the pan with dark soya sauce and let it simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes while stirring.

Then add two table spoons of coconut oil and saute it for another 15 minutes before you serve.

Tips
You can adjust the number of green chillies and pepper depending on the preference
Taste and add more salt and some lemon juice- only if needed
