  2. I grew up on this. But, instead of noodles she rolled out bisque and sliced the bisque into small squares. Then stirred them into the sauce as it boiled. They barely raised. This made them fluffy and chewy at the same time. Ouuuuhhh weeeeee! That was so flattening. Terrible for the heart.

  7. Looks delish! But as to the "noodle is a noodle is a noodle" feeling… My Grandma Huldah hand-mixed, rolled out with the rolling pin, and cut her own homemade egg noodles. Once cut, she would gently fluff them out over the entire kitchen table to air-dry, and stored them in 5 gallon buckets for later use. Store-bought noodles have little flavor, but Grandma's were tender and so tasty EVERY time. She had 10 kids and 50ish grandkids, and so many of us have tried to make her noodles, but not a darn one of us had her talents. The right egg noodle can make or break a dish – and Grandma Huldah had the magic to elevate hers to the sublime. Miss her so! ❤

  11. Making beef strogenoff tonight. We have it 2 times a month. My mom pressure cooked most of our meals growing up. She could have an amazing dinner on the table in 20 to 30 minutes. I shipped her household goods here so I can cook some of her meals even packed up some of her seasonings and mixes in my suitcase. Lol

Beef stroganoff is one of my Husbands and mine favorite dish with steamed baby carrots on the side-I always used the Lawerys packet because it was so good and they stopped making it -not a fan of the McCormick brand,I’ve tried so many recipes and they are not good but I’m excited to make yours (I also make it with thin sliced chicken breast thank you for sharing this and all your recipes
