Bread Halwa
Ingredients:

Bread – 4 slices
Ghee – 3 tbsp [Buy:
Water – 1 cup
Sugar – 100 gms
Cardamom powder – 3/4 tsp
Rose Essence – 1/2 tsp
Dates – 4 nos chopped [Buy:
Milk – 2 cups
Roasted Cashew nuts
Roasted Raisins

Method:
1. Cut the Bread in to pieces (remove the thick corners)
2. Heat 2 to 3 tsp Ghee in a sauce pan
3. Toast the Bread pieces till they turn golden brown & keep aside.
4. Add 1 cup of Water in the same sauce pan
5. Add 1 cup Sugar
6. Keep the flame on medium low, wait till sugar dissolves
7. Add 3/4th tsp of Cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp Rose essence
8. When sugar syrup becomes thick then add 4 chopped Dates
9. Gradually add the bread pieces
10. Add 2 cups of Milk
11. Add 3 tsp of Ghee
12. Finally add roasted Cashew nuts, roasted Raisins & mix well
Your Bread Halwa is ready!
