Bread Malai Pudding

Ingredients for Custard:
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 1 cup
Custard slurry (vanilla custard powder 4 tbsp + water 1 cup)

Ingredients for Whipped Cream:
Whipping cream 1 cup

Ingredients for Assembling:
Bread slices as required
Prepared custard as required
Whipped cream as required
Pistachios as required

Directions for Custard Preparation:
In a pot, heat milk and add sugar. Cook until sugar dissolves.
Add custard slurry and cook until it thickens. Set aside.
Directions for Whipped Cream Preparation:
Add whipping cream to a bowl and beat it until fluffy and stiff peaks form. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
In a serving dish add a layer of bread slices, prepared custard, bread slices again and top with whipped cream. Lastly garnish with pistachios and serve. Your Malai Bread Pudding is ready.
