To Make Rabdi

Full Cream Boiled Milk – 500 Ml
Sugar – 3 Tbsp
Cardamom Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Rose Syrup – 2 Tbsp

To Make Khoa Filling

Ghee – 2 Tsp
Milk – 1/4 Cup
Khova / Khoa – 200 Gms
Cardamom Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Rose Syrup – 2 Tbsp
Sugar – 1 Tbsp

Method:

For Rabdi
1. Take milk in a saucepan.
2. Boil it until it is reduced to half and then add sugar to it.
3. Mix and let the sugar melt completely.
4. Add in the cardamom powder and rose syrup.
5. Mix well and keep this rose rabdi aside.

For Khoya Filling
1. Take ghee and add milk to it in a saucepan.
2. Add the khoya to the milk mixture and mix well.
3. Once the khoya becomes soft and goey, add in the cardamom powder, rose syrup.
4. Mix well and add sugar.
5. Keep mixing until the khoya mixture thickens.
6. Once the khoya changes to a desired consistency, turn off the stove and transfer it to a bowl. Let it cool down completely.

For assembling the Bread Malai Rolls
1. Cut edges off the bread slices and flatten them with a roller pin.
2. Place the khoya filling in the middle of the bread and spread it to all sides evenly.
3. Now roll the bread slices into tight rolls as shown in the video.
4. Seal the edges with some milk and cut off the end parts to make sure the rolls are nice and even.
5. Pour the rose rabdi on a serving plate and then place the bread rolls gently on it.
6. Garnish the rolls with rose rabdi, cherries and chopped pistachios.
7. Creamy rich Bread Malai Rolls are ready to be served.
