The Tomahawk is on my bucket list. Being married to a Nurse, everything is well done (165). But you can't go wrong o the Komado. I find it interesting that folks need help cooking in these grills. I am no pitmaster, but I learned fast. Keep it going!
ok Smokin' Dad have you had those soapstones break? I've had 2 collapse during cooks. I am so ove rthe KJ Soapstones. I love cooking in then=m, but 100+ bucks every 2 years is killing me.
Where in Md? I live outside of Baltimore in Glen Burnie.
Loved the video as always James! You should do an episode in the UK. Its just a coincidence thats where i am 👀
I got to unsubscribe because I can't stand seeing thumbnails of people with their mouths wide open. It's an old marketing tact that has ran its course and I aint watching anymore channels that do it
Boy, that was a dull knife! I wish Tumbler would make one of those knife sharpers at 10 degrees for my Japanese style knifes as using stones is a slow sharping process because of the time it takes to get the stones water soaked and ready to go. Thanks for the two sear sauces, sauces are so important to step up your cook. Other options that I use for searing is cast iron plate and my favorite is a grill grate. Taste is king and my friends always want to know why my cooked food taste so much better than theirs and it is either brining, what is in the brine, fire management, final meat temperature, sauces and searing or bark. Thanks for another helping video and show more of your camp site as I am now retired and will be traveling back east. Seeing your sites helps me understand what to expect.
Does the control tower top fit the green eggs?
Excellent series! Did that soap stone crack on you guys? Not a slag on the product, just an observation.
That was a great looking steak! Cool video, James!
30 seconds per side! I need to time myself next time haha
Awesome video! Loving the series! Hopefully the sponsors keep contributing so that way we see a season two as well!
Great video James. I want to thank you for the Alabama white sauce recipe, it has been a real game changer as a sear sauce and of course on chicken. It was a great looking piece of meat and the quality will certainly add to the overall success of the cook.
EXCELLENT video & series. I did my "old Boy Scout" caveman steak for our RV camping group.. The looks on their faces were priceless when I slapped the meat onto red hot coals.. They claimed I wrecked them untill they reluctantly bit into a perfect, juicy steak.
These are great vids. Nice job on helping and informing?educating at the same time . Good finish with “on the drive home”
Great video. I really like this series!
Another great video James. Really like this series.
Thumbnail looks like a couple of large-mouth basses. Need to rethink how surprise is represented…
That looks great. I'm salivating. It is my favorite cut in all of BBQ. Though I greatly enjoy the smoking process of a brisket, when it comes to eating enjoyment, hands down, I'd take a great grilled steak anyday over a smoked brisket. Sometimes I wonder whether I am in the minority!
Well that steak looked amazing. Great video and overall an amazing series!
Why does the steak look like a Dinosaurs head in the thumb nail???? Anyone?? lol
Amazing 🤩
Great video!
Can you do same setup either the cast iron half moon?
This is a nice video idea
What a lucky guy!
Great video. Love the BBQ Rescue! I laughed when the guy said that the sear kept the juices in (biggest myth with cooking steak)… I wonder if he knew the sear was done at the end of the cook?
Another great video, these are the best. Not only are you personally helping others with hands on experience but all of us get to watch and see the excitement and gratification of them learning and all of us learning more also.
Great video as always James, that steak looked amazing.
Nice grill area set up.
