  1. Pitboss Pheonix, 376sq in pellet + charcoal for just $397, also does not have any heat deflector for whole surface indirect cooking so has to resort to using two-zone cooking in a fairly limited cooking space.

  2. The temp control makes this great, but it needs the full surface for cooking. If your boss (wife or employer) sends you home with a bit too much meat to cook (after having tasted the delicious food the comes off of this grill) it will suck to have to use up so much of the fairly limited space available for just the coals. The upside is you can get some good searing and over-the-fire flavor into the meat. Love your reviews!

  3. I do allot of grilling and smoking on pellet smokers and a big green egg and i can tell you that spider grills huntsman looks like a great choice, that solid carbon steel hull is no joke, i would buy if you have the money!

  4. i believe the BBQ Lab is going down the greedy slippery slope. What used to be a serious site independently reviewing BBQ products is now hawking products ( rubs and hats..please) . Expect more products to be honestly tested backed by grill manufacturers. Very sad. You see this all of the time when a good idea is taken hostage by money.

  5. The Huntsman is a tank.It is very heavy. I've had mine for months and I have cooked on it 2 to 3 times a week in 0° and it did not let me down at any time. I would recommend this grill to anyone because it will last a lifetime.💯🤔👏 by the way I have all the accessories also.😮😮

  6. Another great video Mr. Gafford. Did you have any issues with the Huntsman getting to temp in the cold weather? At one point in the video, it looked as if the temp was set to 275 but the temp reading was 202.
Also, I know this video was specifically about the Huntsman, but they do sell the temp controller separately for Weber kettles and it works very well. Be blessed everyone.
