Can You Really Host a BBQ for £10?! | Morrisons 3 for £10 Challenge

This week I put Morrisons’ “3 for £10” meat deal to the test. Can you really host a proper BBQ for 4 people on just £10 worth of meat?

To keep it realistic, I added a £10 max budget for sides and extras — and turned it into a full-on BBQ feast:

Chicken lollipops using the drumsticks

Grilled boneless thighs

Over-the-top chilli made from pork shoulder steaks

Smash burgers with the mince

BBQ jacket potatoes

BBQ pit beans

Most of the cook was done on the Traeger, but the smash burgers were fired up on the Buffalo griddle

  1. Have you done anything with the cheapy Morrisons ribs? They're usually near a butcher counter and in a polystyrene container. I've grabbed a rack to try low and slow snake on the Webber but no idea on timings or temps. 120c until it's soft?

  2. Another quick tip. If your local Morrisons has a butchery you can always nip over and ask them for a small bag of their seasonings. They typically stock the popular ones like BBQ, Piri Piri, Firecracker etc. and they won't charge youa penny for it
