Chicken BBQ Rice Platter
Ingredients for Chicken Preparation:
Chicken thigh pieces 500 g
Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt 1 cup
Hot sauce 1 tbsp
Tandoori masala 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Oil (for cooking) 2 tbsp
Heated coal pieces 1-2
Oil (for smoke) 1 tsp
Ingredients for Sauce:
Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt 1 cup
Sriracha sauce 1/4 cup
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cream 1/4 cup
Ingredients for Garlic Rice:
Oil 3 tbsp
Garlic (Chopped) 2 tbsp
Boiled rice 2 ½ cups
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Ingredients for Assembling:
Garlic rice as required
Veggies as required
Prepared chicken as required
Prepared sauce as required
Directions for Chicken Preparation:
In a bowl add chicken, Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt, tandoori masala, hot sauce, salt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and mix it well. Let it rest for 15-20 mins.
In a pan, heat oil and place marinated chicken pieces. Cook each side for 2-3 mins or until fully done.
Now place heated coal in an aluminum cup in the center of the pan and drizzle oil on it. Cover the pan with lid and let it smoke for 1-2 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Sauce Preparation:
In a bowl add Nestlé MilkPak Yogurt, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper powder and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Garlic Rice Preparation:
In a pan heat oil and add garlic. Cook for a minute.
Add boiled rice, salt, black pepper powder and mix it well.
Your Garlic Fried Rice is ready.
Directions for Assembling:
On a platter add a layer of garlic rice, top it with veggies, prepared chicken and sauce. Your Chicken BBQ Rice Platter is ready.
