for masala powder
in a pan, add 1 cinnamon, 4 cloves,1 star anise, 4 cardamom.
1 tbsp cumin seeds.
1 tbsp fennel seeds.
2 tbsp Coriander seeds.
1/4 tbsp pepper corns.
little kalpasi.
5 cashews.
few curry leaves.
dry roast all these ingredients for 3 minutes in low flame.
once these ingredients smell comes, then turn off the flame and let it rest for a while.
turn it into a mixer jar and grind it into a fine powder.
to prepare gravy
in a pan, add 4 tbsp oil.
1 large onion thinly chopped and saute them well until it turns dark glassy brown color.
add 1 and 1/2 tbsp of salt.
add 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste and saute it well.
now add a pinch of turmeric powder and Chilli powder and saute them.
now add the grinded masala powder and mix them well.
now add quarter cup of curd and m8x them well.
now add 1/2kg of chicken and mix it well with the gravy.
then a cup of water and mix well.
now close the pan with lid and cook for 15 minutes from medium to low flame.
after 15 minutes, garnish the gravy with chopped coriander leaves.
