    • 🐔 Chicken — 500 g

    • 🌶️ Dried chili pepper — a pinch (optional)

    • 🧄 Garlic powder — 1 tsp

    • 🥚 Egg — 1

    • 🌽 Cornflakes (unsweetened) or breadcrumbs — 100–150 g

    • 🛢️ Vegetable oil for deep frying

    • 🍅 Ketchup — for serving

    👩‍🍳 Instructions:

    1. Cut the 🐔 boneless skinless chicken into small pieces.

    2. Season with 🧂 salt, ⚫ black pepper, 🌶️ dried chili pepper, and 🧄 garlic powder. Mix well.

    3. Add the 🥚 egg and mix again so the chicken pieces are coated.

    4. Coat the chicken in crushed 🌽 cornflakes (or breadcrumbs).

    5. Heat 🛢️ oil in a deep fryer or a deep pan.

    6. Fry the chicken pieces for 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy (thin pieces are done in 5 minutes, thicker ones may need 7–8 minutes).
