Just Give’r the seasoning is perfect for chicken noodle soup. With cold and flu season hitting hard I decided to get a homemade chicken stock going. I always freeze my left over chicken, carcass and gravy for such times like these. This quick and easy chicken noodle soup will definitely help your little ones feel better and fight off that cold/flu.
Here’s how:
In a large pot add 1 chicken carcass 1 carton @campbells chicken stock Left over homemade gravy (if you have) 4 clove garlic Few slices of ginger (roughly the same amount as garlic) 1 medium onion (quartered) Carrots (I’m using baby because that’s all I had) Celery 1 lemon 1-2 tablespoons Just Give’r
Cover with water, bring to a boil the simmer over low heat for 3 hours. Remove everything from the stock and add in your chicken, noodles and which ever veggies you prefer in it.
Just Give’r is loaded with ginger, cumin and garlic. But why is that good for colds?
Ginger, cumin, and garlic are often considered beneficial for colds due to their potential immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger may help soothe a sore throat and reduce nausea, while cumin contains antioxidants that can support the immune system. Garlic is known for its antimicrobial properties, potentially helping to fight infections.
