  1. Growing up "hamburger steak" (big ol' burger without the bun or bread) was a treat, especially if there was some Heinz 57 or A1 in the fridge. Never had the fancy caramelized veggies tho, can't wait to try this. Thanks Hussey and Happy New Year to you and yours.

  2. I saw one of your videos from about 3 months ago earlier too and commented on it. You dump truck hash browns. I swear we were raised in the same house. I was one of three boys, there wasn't any fancy steaks rolling around there It was either sirloin or hamburger steak. Dad used mad dog 20/20 to cut the remains up in the frying pan and cook in with the onions.

  3. We call that hamburger steak, chopped steak is sirloin or ribeye trimmings ground up!! I fix this frequently using ground venison and since it is a dryer meat I use more butter and/or some coconut oil and cook it just a little rarer!!
