And while this odd matchup of celebs may never meet IRL, their worlds collided in the Delish test kitchen, thanks to banana bread.

All these comments are about how of course chrissys won hers has extra ingredients but I made her banana bread today without the chocolate and coconut and it was bomb af and was moist af

If your bananas turn dark, freeze them whole in a ziplock for anytime bread making.
I think Chrissy's looked better, but for me personally, I would skip on the coconut because I hate coconut. But other than that, it looks great

I way more prefer Joanna’s banana bread that Chrissy’s. I made them both and Joanas was so amazing.

I like Chrissy but I skipped a couple ingredients for her banana bread. It’s so sugary and unhealthy.
Bananas have to be brown, the color of Joanne's is NOT what real banana bread is. Chrissy Teigen added tons of extras (as usual). So both didn't make a true banana bread.
My banana bread is better. It never lasts more than 2 days with my son and husband lol.

I have made Joanna’s and in her defense this looks nothing like hers… she uses nuts or chocolate chips in hers as well… and sprinkles a ton of sugar on top so when u bake it is browns and has a nice crunchy layer on top…..

I make Chrissy’s banana bread with and without chocolate and without the coconut and it still tastes bomb either way
