Homemade classic tomato sauce 🥫 🍅
Italy has 20 regions, each region has countless little towns and cities and in each one of them you can find a different way to make tomato sauce.
The one I’m showing is probably the most common and easy to do:
Tomatoes (S.marzano are the best choice, hard to find them out of Italy, any other tomato will do his job)
Extra virgin olive oil
Onions ( garlic or shallots)
Basil
Salt
In the video I said you can use it as a base of pizza, which is true, although a classic pizza sauce from Naples is a little different. Let me know in the comments if you wanna see how to prepare it!
