Classic Chicken Pot Pie Casserole: Deliciously Easy



This Chicken Pot Pie Casserole has all of the classic flavors of a chicken pot pie but instead of a pie crust, it’s even easier topped with flaky soft Homemade Biscuits (hyperlink) that bake over the chicken pot pie filling.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN POT PIE CASSEROLE:
* 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded*
* 6 Tbsp unsalted butter
* 1 medium yellow onion, (1 cup chopped)
* 2 medium carrots, (1 cup) thinly sliced
* 8 oz white or brown mushrooms, (stems discarded), sliced
* 3 garlic cloves, minced
* 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 cups chicken stock
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 2 tsp fine sea salt, or to taste, plus kosher salt to garnish
* 1/4 tsp black pepper, plus more to garnish
* 1 cup frozen peas, do not thaw
* 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
* 1 recipe of homemade biscuit dough

  1. Love your tip in your recipe to use 'Aluminum Free' Baking Powder. It makes a HUGE difference. Everyone should check their Baking Powder and toss it, if it contains Aluminum. The Aluminum gives food a slight after-taste of metallic that lingers for days.🤢 I disposed my Aluminum Baking Powder, and will NEVER buy it again.

    I am going to bake this Casserole very soon. Anything Chicken Pot Pie in the winter time is my kind of comfort food. Love the style of your videos, every video is better than the previous one. All the perfect; multiple camera, audio levels, lighting & kitchen setup. Great edits with special effects. Love the script. It's to the point, without dragging on. This all takes time to perfect.   6. Brush your biscuits with butter? LMAO! As with all your recipes, this looks yummy and easy to make. I do appreciate all the chicken recipes you offer. This will need to wait a while; I have many of your dishes stacked up for my own taste test. I have yet to be disappointed.
    Tomorrow morning will be the banana v lemon ricotta pancake shoot out. To make it fair there will be both bacon and sausage. I will let everyone know my results.
