  1. Unpopular opinion… love a good beer but large amounts of it rarely does anything good in food. We dump beer in everything, and the family and friends all say it's great because we've also dumped several in ourselves, so they don't want to anger the drunk cook. 😀 But in reality, it's just not that good. But that's just an opinion, not hating at all.

  2. i start my coney sauce with butter, onion, and celery. Toss the beef in and brown it a bit. Spices are mostly paprika with some extra chili powder. Cover with water and simmer.

    Milk, Cheddar, and sodium citrate makes a great cheese sauce to go with the chili too.

  3. Lol I make this chili sauce recipe using beer, so the whole time you guys were talking about adding water, I was like "You guys gotta use beer!" So I was so pleased when you did away with the water idea and pulled out a can of beer instead. These burgers look delicious! The pickled onions area nice touch. Some sauerkraut would be great too.
