We did say in our video that the Sweet Rice Wine we used was homemade.
If anyone is interested in making your own brew, here’s the link to how we made it! It includes a meticulous day-by-day blog of how our brew evolved over the course of 15 days. It was an exciting adventure, I must say. And looking back at our blog, our Rice Wine was made in Oct 2012, so it’s 8 years old (not 13 years as we mentioned in our video)…sometimes, time fades into a bit of a blur… Well, the brew clearly works well. We’ve kept it sealed in a glass bottle in our fridge, and 8 years on, it’s better than ever…very sweet (viscous actually) and with a nice complex aroma of rice grains!
