There’s something grounding about slow campfire cooking after days of rain on the road. In this video we cook BBQ baked beans from scratch over a live fire using The Road Grill, letting soaked dried beans simmer low and slow with bacon, onion, garlic, and BBQ sauce until they turn rich, smoky, and deeply comforting.
This is real camp cooking. No cans, no shortcuts, and no rush. Just a steady fire, simple ingredients, and time. These campfire BBQ baked beans are built for outdoor cooking, whether you’re camping, overlanding, or cooking at the trailhead, and they only get better as they sit. Any leftovers go straight into a jar for the next day on the road.

Those beans must have had a delicious flavor with the bacon and special barbecue sauce 😋
i would've added the reserve liquid into the mason jar to get all the bbq sauce out of it next time. Can't be wasting all that good flavor !!!
