  3. Mom’s cucumber in sour cream was sliced paper thin along with sliced onions
    The juice was sour cream, vinegar sugar

    Very sweet sour

    Very common in Wisconsin

    Moms hamburger patties were called Bachkas. In brown mushroom gravy….

    This episode made me remember and really miss mom….

  4. Anna is not only a great chef, but a wonderful and patient teacher. Can't wait to make more memories with Walter using Anna's recipes from her new "Dumplings and Dragons" cook book.
