Corn Pasta + Why I Went Vegan.

On this week’s episode of The Korean Vegan podcast, I answer the most frequently received question: Why did I go vegan? For some people, it’s a pretty straightforward answer. For me, however, it’s a little complicated. There were so many things that started my journey towards The Korean Vegan. But it wasn’t until my dad landed in the hospital that I made that final commitment. You can hear the full, unabridged version on my podcast (links below). This corn pasta will be added to the TKV Meal Planner next week!

  1. I clicked on bout chicken. They were for eating chicken. I commented. Chicken chicken gives me breathing difficulties. They replied, chicken I'm inaccurate and I should see a doctor if I can't breathe. A doctor doesn't need to tell me, I'm right or wrong.

  2. I feel sorry for your father ofcourse, but you know every american who are eating meat is coming from fast food chains combining that with processed grains and sugars, it will be an ugly end..

  4. You don't have to go to church to believe in God, Church is soully to spend time in fellowship, even though it's a big part of the Christian lifestyle you don't need to make it all the time and it doesn't matter where you are. Because.. God is everywhere, and he is always listening. I hope you and your father are doing well, All your story's are heart renching and I enjoy listening to them!

  5. God works in mysterious ways… even when you don't know it he's always watching, waiting for the right moment to help you. You kept your promise to God and he has blessed you. I feel so alone at home, but listening to your stories always make me feel less so. Thank you so much for being and growing into the person you are, god bless you. In short I'm so glad that you are the Korean Vegan.

  6. just hearing this made me tear up. im 14 years old and my dad got diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago. my family tried to keep it hidden from me as to not make me worry but they didnt hide it very well. i act like im fine and that i dont know about it infront of my family but when im alone i just cant help but cry about it. i want to ask for help but at the same time i cant bring myself to tell my friends how i feel. ive been living with so much anxiety each and every day and hearing this made me feel like im not alone

  7. Honestly, I don't think going plant based is going to prevent all kinds of cancer. My family in India is largely vegan or vegetarian. They have lived like this their entire life. And we have had our fair share of members who died of cancer.

  8. You should look at the correlation between Cancer and general and inflammation and other problems and vegetable oils and cottonseed oils and a lot of oil so there's only a few good oils out there most of them are rancid when you get them and have shit to make them so they don't smell rancid or taste rancid but they are and slowly poison your body you should really do research on it it's enlightening very very enlightening
