They both would have turned out better if you had poured some Jack Daniels over them…
Not many commercial outfits will take the time & care to cook well
Hey you posted a video a bit ago showing amazing tips on cooking brisket on a Traeger. It was a quick tip one, starting with putting your brisket on the Traeger when firing it up to get that initial smoke, using foil boat method, etc. can’t find that video anywhere, it was super helpful. Can you share it again??
Costco choice is special to me
but chewy!
Surprise….The one he cooked tastes better to him…I think the fix was in.
It goes without saying that cats have great sense of smell, and they being obligate carnivores, will be approaching the source of meat and beg you to give them a sample or more of it.
We have a local grocer where I live in the Salt Lake area. They do actually smoke brisket properly. I've bought it happily many times, usually as a snack on my way home. It kills that costco brisket with ease
The Costco precooked was probably meat that was supposed to be sold yesterday. Plus as he said. It was cooked in a big ole machine.
It would have been a better review if you had a blind taste test with someone other than you who cooked two of the 3 meats
Yum, but your body will pay the price in fat content & cholesterol.
Doesn't cook it in the bag and says it's dry or overcooked? "I bet they cook a thousand of these things so cant hold them to too high of a standard" lol Not even close to a fair shake. I am so confused about how this is helpful for the comparison.
I tied the brisket the other week. It was pretty good and juicy. However, it was not as flavorful as one that I made… but I super smoke it to have massive smoke rings.
I say bake the plastic into the brisket.
Cooking in plastic is so wrong
I bought a Costco precooked brisket, I agree, it's like chewing rubber bands.
Aww man. I was really hoping it would be good. Those sorts of things seem like they'd be perfect for us. We've tried cooking different big cuts ourselves, but 1) all we have is an oven, and 2) we don't always have enough time to do it properly. I don't mind so much about the price, but the bounciness of it really made it seem unappetizing. Inviting a bunch of people over and then setting that out on the table seems like kind of a nightmare.
Watching this video while I prep your backyard barbeque chicken thighs recipe and shaking my head in dismay.
Cooking it in the plastic sounds disgusting. Why would you willingly consume more micro plastics?
Is this dude the late great Norm Macdonald's (R.I.P.) long lost brother?
Why would you cook it if it's already cooked? You're just heating it up to serve it… With all those briskets do you have like a family of 17 or something 😆
So, wrap it in pink butcher paper, smother it in beef tallow, and bring it up to 205, and it should be better? 🤷🏼♂️
I tried Costco ribs. Save your money.
That bounce test was crazy
They're ALL better than my smoked brisket. Not sure why but I just can't seem to get mine anywhere close to these with my offset smoker, same for my stacked smoker before I gave it away.
$110 wtf.. I clicked thinking damn i should try this. Lol nope.
the chicken though is worth it, better cheaper at Walmart if they have it.
I want to see the reaction video with the Costco manager
Stopped at 11:36. You didn't taste anything until after ten minutes. I'm going to guess that the rest of the video is you explaining how much better and cheaper your brisket is. Am I right?
that's an abomination🤣😐😮💨🤢🤮😒
4:32 Yeah, it's honestly great haha 😉
YT spammed me so you better get paid by them for the commercials they did against us
Looks dry
feel like cooking it out of the bag was unfair. its pretty obvious that an older, pre-cooked steak would dry out if you reheat it to create bark.
I love the shot at pellet grill, that hurt man 🙂
Well that was 110.00 dollars down the drain!
