I wanted to eat mie pecel bakwan so badly, but since I didn’t have any noodles, I used spaghetti instead. Please don’t criticize; the method might not be perfect and the ingredients might not be ideal. Sometimes I have to improvise because I don’t have all the ingredients. What’s important is that my taste buds get to enjoy what I crave. Here’s how I made it:
Ingredients:
– 100g spaghetti
– Some bok choy
– 2 eggs
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Granulated mushroom (optional)
– Pre-made peanut sauce
Instructions:
1. Dilute the pre-made peanut sauce with water and set aside.
2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. When the spaghetti is almost done, add the bok choy and cook for 2 more minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add the eggs and all the seasonings. Stir until the eggs are cooked.
4. Place the spaghetti on a plate, then coat with the peanut sauce, and it’s ready to serve.
Selamat makan 🫶
