If you guys are a fan of those prepackaged sides, you’ll adore this recipe for creamy garlic shells! You would think they would be more time consuming due to the fact that they’re made from scratch but let me show you how incredibly quick and easy they are to make! The best part about these creamy shells is how explosively delicious they are! I mean.. it is a side dish but with all of it’s creamy, garlicky cheese sauce, you’ll find yourself skipping the main course for a plate of this! 😆 Enjoy!~
INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves Garlic
garlic powder
salt & pepper
dried parsley
3/4 cup chicken broth
8 oz mini pasta shells
2 tbs. Flour
olive oil
1 Tbs butter
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Start off by boiling a half a box of pasta shells. In another saute pan, add the butter with a drizzle of olive oil and fry the garlic for a few seconds being careful not to burn it. Go ahead and add the flour and continue sauteing everything for 1 more minute. Add the chicken broth and milk and season the sauce with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add the cooked and drained shells and mix into the sauce. Finish everything off with some Parmesan cheese and sprinkle the top with dried parsley to make it look pretty! Enjoy!
