This creamy lemon chicken is perfectly tender with golden crispy edges. The sauce is creamy, lemony and garlicky; these flavours form the tastiest trifecta.
CREAMY LEMON CHICKEN RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
• 8 Chicken thighs
• 1 cup Onion (diced)
• 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
• 2 cups Chicken Stock
• 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 cup Heavy Cream
• 2 tsp Salt
• 2 tsp Black Pepper
• 1 tsp Garlic Powder
• 1 Lemon (Sliced)
• 3 tsp Lemon Juice
• Parsley (chopped – for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
• Season chicken with salt, black pepper and garlic powder
• Brown the chicken (skin side down first) in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat
• Bake the chicken in the oven for 45 minutes or until is cooked at 375 deg. F.
• Using the same skillet, remove access oil if necessary and saute the onion for 3-4 minutes
• Saute garlic for a minute and add chicken stock
• Once the broth starts simmering add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper
• Add dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce
• Add heavy cream and lemon juice
• Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and cook for 4-5 minutes
• Garnish with parsley and lemon slices
