Creamy Pappardelle Pasta with Bacon, Leeks, and Mushrooms!

A quick to make pasta meal using fresh pasta. If you don’t have fresh pasta, no problem, use dry. In fact use the pasta you have, it’s adaptable. This pappardelle pasta dish with mushrooms, leeks, and smoky bacon is a hearty yet refined meal the whole family will love. The smoky bacon adds depth, while the earthy mushrooms and sweet leeks and garlic balance the flavours beautifully. The white wine and cream create a silky sauce that coats the pasta, giving it a rich yet fresh taste. Simple to make, it’s comfort food with a touch of elegance. Kenji loves the look of it!

  1. I love that this recipe uses leeks. I don't use leeks often because I only know leek and potato soup. Speaking of which there is a very funny scene in the show EMILY IN PARIS where a leek farming couple go to a marketing agency to market their leeks. Someone at the agency mentions potatoes and the husband of the couple gets so angry because is tired of the potato connotation when they are so passionate about leek's potential! 🤣

  2. I'm so intimidated to make fresh pasta from scratch for some reason. I bake my own bread, cakes, cookies and my family and friends consider me a good cook but I never made pasta. However your scrumptious looking dish inspires me to try making it despite my fear.
I made your Dirty Potato the other day as a snack and left it on the counter and it was gone in less than 3 min. It was delicious as all your other recipes.
Thank you for making me look like a great cook 😊
Adorable Kenji is growing fast in front of our eyes ❤

  3. Great recipe.I might try pancetta versus bacon. I'm sure it's great with either. Kenji looks great. Nice to see our favorite pup growing up. One minor comment… not crazy about the music… but I appreciate the video as always.
