What is a substitute for the wine? Can I use some vegetable broth or something else to deglaze?
It looks delicious! I would like to try it with frozen then thawed tofu. I’m not a fan of the soft tofu texture. Definitely trying this recipe. I don’t have a Trader Joe so I will use what is available to me. Should still turn out taste. Using plant based milk instead of water with the cashew sauce is a great idea, I imagine it makes it next level creamier.

We have nut allergies in our home. Can I use cannelloni beans to make the sauce?
What would you recommend using for the sauce if you don’t have cashews? I’m really bad about never have any kind of almonds or nuts on hand 😩

I have an allergy to cashews (and pistachios and mango, funnily enough), but I always see creamy sauces using soaked cashews. I was wondering if you know of another way to get the same consistency in a vegan sauce that doesn't use cashews. I can eat other nuts, but I'm not sure if another nut would replicate the creamy-ness. I love your videos, you make such delicious looking food!
