A trick I used to avoid soggy bottoms, I cut up veggies like potatoes, carrots, etc and put them in bottom. The meat on top. The juice run off and you get roasted veggies.

I made the Pork Chops using this recipe and they were the best I have ever had….
Here in Colorado it's finally not 100° F outside so I've decided to make chicken fried chops tonight (with cornbread of course) and a salad. If I pound the chops, (they're bone in) should I lessen the cook time by a few minutes?

I'm German. Grew up eating this but it gave me heart disease and I'm only 45y please for your health STOP eating dead carcasses. It's simply not healthy if you want to keep breathing.
I put garlic salt on mine. Butter in the pan. Then turn the stove to Low to medium heat. 5 minutes a side. medium rare. That is perfect to me.
