  1. never understood why anyone would buy a nonstick pan these days after knowing what they're made out of and how toxic and carcinogenic they are. I don't care what bs marketing gimmicks they sell you on PTFE and PFOA free, most of them are still made from teflon, and the ones that aren't never even tell you what they're made from. You don't need it, stay away from anything that scratches and breaks off material into your body. Whether it's carbon, stainless, or ceramic coated, steel is all you need, period, end of story.

  2. I like making them much simpler. I use a very small well oiled sheet pan and put potatoes cut side down on pan and sprinkle with your preferred seasoning. Then I roast on an oven rack as low as it can go in oven. Temp depends on what other item I may be roasting in oven. I just watch them and remove from oven when they test soft and done and are nicely browned on cut side which is against pan.

  3. I like to use baby potatoes/new potatoes with the skin on. Wash/dry, add to a bowl, season, oil, onto an oven tray with foil and paper and roast.

So easy and I can do it in bulk for the family. Tastes good cold too. I love any recipe that gives maximum flavour for minimum effort.

Usually I like Spanish smoked paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder and rapeseed/sunflower oil.

  4. For whatever reason, the way the music cut in the first time convinced me I had another tab going off! 😆 And it was always a bit distracting in this video. It's a nice idea so I expect you'll dial it in.
And the recipe looks fantastic, and Julia explains things so well, which is of course why we're here!

  5. My take. Yukon gold. Smoked Spanish paprika. Mexican Oregano. Olive oil. Bit of salt. In bowl placed in air fryer at 350 degrees. Stir a couple of times. Cook until outside is crusty and middle is tender which will not take as long with the Yukon potatoes.
