I prefer separate I don't like mines mixed I will still eat it but I prefer to see the sauce poured on top that's just how I grew up and my grandmother also used to put a little sugar in the sauce to take the tart out. But if I was doing baked spaghetti it would be just like yours AP looks delicious

  2. This reminds me of a recipe called Cowboy Spaghetti. I was planning on making it tomorrow. Back to the grocery tomorrow to get a couple of ingredients you add that the recipe didn’t. You know I’m using your recipe; they are all tried and true so far!

  3. I come from a German background even though born in The Bronx. I just don't make sense even if it tastes GREAT, why do Italians have two starches in a meal? Pasta and Bread? My wife came from a small town and her family often ate at an Italian restaurant and she thinks it's quite NORMAL. LOL LOL Keep up the great show..

  4. RAOS sauces are way better than Prego, no offense to Prego I grew up with it for easy sauce, but Raos is what I am using if I need fast. Thanks A.B. all of your spices live in my cupboards never do they disappoint!

  5. AB, when i cook for a crowd i use McCormick course ground pepper and Morton's kosher sea salt. both in shaker bottles from Walmart. I love going back later and reading the comments. I am one of AB's Mods. We love the SnG Fam. Also so SAD news from one of the mods, i will share it on Sunday in Live Chat. Prayers Shebad!!

  6. It's better the next day!! Those flavors permeate, and the taste intensifies. 😋 I usually have some sauce leftover to freeze/refrigerate and don't include the noodles because they break down and become mush. I cook fresh noodles for another day.😉

  7. Heavy on the meat! I love it, AB! My husband and I raised 2 sons, and all 3 males really love a lot of meat in the spaghetti. I started making meat sauce to put my meatballs in, and everyone loves it that way!
