Culver’s Smokehouse BBQ Cheddar Pub Burger Review

Today I’m at Culver’s trying the New Smokehouse BBQ Cheddar Pub Burger. The new burger features fresh never frozen beef layered with our new sweet and tangy barbeque sauce, cheddar cheese, crispy onion rings, pickles and signature mayo all served on a cheddar cheese bun.

  1. I had this burger today. Very nice burger. But now over priced. Premium sides are now $2.00 extra. This burger as a Combo was $13.30 with tax as a single burger. Still the best burgers in town. But pricing is getting out of hand. I'll still go there just less often. Maybe every other month instead of monthly.

  2. That looks like a very good burger. My go to at Culvers is the single deluxe. But I do get other items occasionally. The Curder Burger last fall I had twice. I had the Walleye Dinner twice during your Fish Sandwich Reviews. I agree Five Guys is way expensive. A similar burger there with beverage/Fries would be in the $15.00 range. Culvers, $10.00 range. And I always have a $1.00 off coupon for a value meal at Culvers. A poster mentioned being from houston and having to drive 40 minutes for a Culvers. I feel bad for him. They need more Culvers there. But they have WhataBurger that I don't have access to here in the Northland. I've not heard of restaurants reducing the cost by not having ingredients that come standard. Nice for them to do. Great review. I am sure I will be getting 1 soon.

  3. One thing I like about your reviews is that you critique each part of a food/drink item. No one has really discussed the bun before. But now I am worried about you each time you do a video since you mentioned the dental work the other day. I don't want you to hurt yourself or ruin your work just for our amusement! I know you like coke, but I am not a real fan so I stick with ice water (which I should anyway!). You mentioned the difference of Culver's (one bad thing: they do NOT deliver; their reasoning is completely inane if you ask me and a big fat lie but whatever – I just go in-store when I want Culver's but I wish I could get delivery with them). One other thing they do that is weird – some of their items you can get a pickle or tomato or whatever but ONLY if you ask (even though it might say includes xyz!) and you have no way of knowing if they are going to charge you or not (until after you pay). I like their pork tenderloin sandwich; kind of a midwest thing!
